Yard party on Sunday

I'm celebrating the end of chemo by having a get together with four other couples on Sunday. It's not really a BBQ because I'm doing most of the food in advance. I can't BBQ with my wig on because it will melt and fuse together, lol, and I don't want to entertain in a doo-rag!
One of my guests is in a wheelchair and my house is not accessible so we are putting up our large white tent (carport type) and putting our 12x12' screen pavilion on one side, L-shaped, and putting down a carpet, coffee tables, a few lamps, etc. will bring out two stand fans in case it gets warm. Here's my menu
Appetizers
Smoked salmon filled phyllo cups
Olive tapenade
Tuscan white bean spread
Caprese skewers
Basket of breads
Clam chowder (from my sister's wonderful recipe)
Corona cocktails and extra shrimp

Drinks
Above mentioned coronas
Pitcher of coconut rum mojitos
Sangria punch
Homemade iced tea and lemonade

Main course
Smoked baby back ribs
Cole slaw
Corn on the cob grilled with a chipotle adobo honey glaze
Thai chili baked chicken thighs (awesome glaze)
Cold sesame noodles
Sautéed mushrooms and herbs a friend is bringing

Dessert
Phyllo cups filled with a sweet cream cheese mixture, topped with homemade lemon curd and fresh fruits
Chocolate cake a friend is making

I can't wait! I'm glad to have chemo behind me. My recovery is set back a bit though, my post-chemo CT scan showed I have blood clots in my ovarian veins. (Could have happened after my hysterectomy or from the chemo) so I started self-injections of an anticoagulant today. That will last three to six months of twice a day injections. It also showed an enlarged Lymph node on the same side as my lumpectomy and sentinel node biopsies. All three docs (oncologist, radiologist, surgeon) feel its probably just swelling caused by the radiation but to be safe I have to have an ultrasound and if its not normal, a biopsy. Can't catch a break!
Hey- maybe when the injections are done, I can have ANOTHER party!! Of course, it will be Jan/Feb, it won't be a yard party :-(
