Our New Addition - Name Suggestions
On Feb. 21 we had to put down our beloved terrier of 16 years and for the past six months it has been really hard for me not having a dog. I would check websites several times a day, one part of me said never again but after having dogs most of my life I knew that there would come a time when I would once again get a dog. As per usual, last night I checked out the Calgary pound, something I do several times a day, and for some reason on the available dogs this one particular one caught my eye. Now normally I like really shaggy dogs and this particular one listed as a Lab/Terrier cross did not appear shaggy but I did give it a second...third...fourth look and thought about her most of the night. This morning I showed it to my DH and was reminded that we had agreed to try things without a dog for a change but he did agree to go and look ....you all know how that goes.
Long story short, we now have a new addition, she is 2+ years old, and very shy and looks like she had been on the run for sometime. She had a few bald patches perhaps from a dog fight and an ear infection that is now under control. Her coat is quite curly and wiry and in need of a bath but we can't do that for ten days as she has just had surgery.
Anyone with suggestions for a name?
