9 hours to mount tires at Jacksonville, FL Camping World

My experience with NTB and Discount Tire over 30 years is that if you are getting a tire size/ type they normally stock - they are great.

If you are getting a tire they don't normally stock - order the tire. Then go by the day before your appointment and check to see that they have actually gotten the correct tire.

I've had the wrong size tire delivered to the installing store happen twice at Discount Tire and once at NTB.

Once they got the right tires - efficient as always.

I showed up on time only to find out that they didn't actually have the gear to mount the tires but they contracted it out. At 10 am, I was told he would be there by 1130. At noon I was told 2 pm. I am truly sorry for your trouble. I live within a 45 minute drive to the CW in Asheville and yet I choose to drive 90 minutes to a great RV dealer in Marion NC.

While at the Grand Canyon (south rim)on a trip to the Grand Canyon, Flagstaff and Sedona I noticed some problem tires and decided that they needed to be replaced. I called the Discount Tire in Flagstaff, set an appointment to stop there on my way to Sedona. I arrived at the appointed time and they put two guys on the job, jacked up my TT in their parking lot, pulled the old - installed the new, mounted and balanced just as I had discussed with them....no problems, no drama just great performance and customer service.....

WHY o Why would you fool around with the incompetents at CW.......just a careful read of this site as well as any other RV website should frighten you sufficiently to avoid CW like the plague.

Finally, after 5 months of phone calls and email exchanges the Jacksonville CW sent me a check to cover the cost of the tire installation. Too bad for them that they wern't quicker. We just upgraded to diesel and took CW RV sales out of the running.

Not just CW.....Few mos back I purchased 6 new 19.5 for the MH...West Coast large chain, good rep.....I had an appt for 0900.....

Got there and they said leave it, they will have the "lot boy" drive it to the installer, few miles away......Done by 5 pm....(I thought an appt at 0900 meant they start about then and it should be done in 1-2 hrs)...

Well at this point I guess you figured it out. I would never buy tires from CW.
Your first clue to just leave and go somewhere else should have been when they had to call someone to come in to actually do the install:S
