No break between tracks when recording vinyl to CD
We have a lot of vinyl recordings and I purchased a Sony USB Turntable with Sony Sound Forge software. I have found that I don't get very many track breaks. I checked online and found this is pretty common when converting analog vinyl to digital CD.
The LPs are from the folk era and only one has been remastered and put on a cd. We're going to visit a friend that was in the group on Saturday and I would like to take the cd's I'm making to him.
The Sony software has a Restoration mode and it works really well. The cd's sound as good as the LPs did in the sixties when they were brand new, but without track breaks, you can't extract songs to make your own play list.
Anyone solved this problem?
