Rand Mcnally 7725 lm

Has anyone had problems with their gps Sat and Sun. I have been trying off and on to search some places at a destination and I get a network error. Everything else seems to be working fine. Thanks in advance for any info.
  • Like what brand of GPS, What LOCATION are you at when error showed up?? Lot more info would HELP.
  • Thanks for the interest, as the subject states, I have a Rand McNally 7725 lm RV Gps. For 2 days I couldn't get any points of interest at a destination in NE Penna. It would give me a network error, well same thing Monday AM, then walla, I was able to get everything. I guess someone finally came to work and turned it on !!!!!!!!!! This has happened before but not for so long.
  • Use your back up copies that are printed in a booklet on the area your interested in. And maybe the solar flairs that happened had an impact. But your happy now right?
  • This particular problem happened past Sat. and Sun. worked ok Mon. and didn't work Tu. first thing in the AM but worked briefly later. What ever it is has to do with Citigrid that handles the search of POI. Never thought about the sun, I guess it could effect it. The routing, recalculation and address search work fine. Now a couple hrs. later not working. Oh well.

Last weekend it could. If you're at all curious, google coronal mass ejection.
  • on you trying to get the information off of the internet thru the Rand McNally?

At least this is how I am reading your post.
