I then inquired about getting more data. The plans available to me are 'go unlimited' and 'beyond unlimited', which sound good, but the hotspot feature is either non-existent or throttled at 15g. The salesman who tried to sell me the 'go' plan neglected to mention that. He also said I could go back to my 24 gig plan. Also not true - according to the website.
I never switched over to the Verizon not-unlimited plan as it sounded like BS from the get go.
I'm still on the "New Verizon Plan" which works like so:
2 GB = $35/mo
4 GB = $50/mo
8 GB = $70/mo
12 GB = $80/mo
16 GB = $90/mo
24 GB = $110/mo
30 GB = $135/mo
40 GB = $180/mo
50 GB = $225/mo
60 GB = $270/mo
80 GB = $360/mo
100 GB = $450/mo
After you select a data level, you can change it up or down.
You might want to see if the New Verizon Plan is still available.
