Winegaurd batwing ant. and power wall plate

Looking for some sort of wire diagram or if someone knows what goes where. My wall power outlet only has two coaxial connectors on the back and one in the front with the 12v socket. Every diagram I found has three connections on back and one on the front. I have the wire coming down from ant. and put it on input and checked on the roof at ant. and it has 12v. Now I'm lost.
  • Take a look at the markings on the back of the face place. I suspect you will find that one is OTA and one is Cable. The output on the front of the panel goes to your TV(s).
What is it that you are trying to accomplish?

There are three different configurations of the Winegard switch assembly.

    Version 1:
    Two connectors on back
    No connector for cable.
    One connector for Batwing.
Second connector on back is for second TV set.

    Version 2:
    Two connectors on back.
    One connector for cable.
    One connector for Batwing.
No connector for second TV set.

    Version 3:
    Three connectors on back.
    One connector for cable.
    One connector for Batwing.
Third connector is for second TV set.

Front tv was gone when purchased. Putting in small flat screen. I have a couple coax wires by wall plate. Also have a box to controll font and rear tv and to switch from ant. Cable,VCR.
  • There should be a coax output connection on the face of the plate which you run to the TV coax input. You can verify that the 12V power supply/booster is working and wired correctly by going on the roof and removing the coax from the head of the antenna. Using a voltage meter you must find 12V+ in the coax itself.
  • I got this from a diagram on the Winegard web site several years ago.
