? Next Wastewater Valve Lubrication Question

How much trouble is it getting to the black & grey water valve "workings" to lubricate the cables? Our trailer has an "insulation" panel covering everything but the waste water drain hookup. Doesn't help that if I try doing it myslef the best (only) work area I have is the gravel driveway or burr laden "lawn". (If it wasn't for the burrs & weeds we wouldn't have any ground green.)
  • Usually access is done via a three sided window cut in underbelly......easier than trying to remove/reinstall a section

Have you tried spraying a lube (silicone or dry lube) down shaft/cable end while opening/closing valves?

Of course this may take more than one try. Fittings inside the underbelly may not be where you think they are.

Better to make one large access than to make a bunch of small mistakes.
  • PB BLASTER 6 OR MORE APPLICATIONS AND WORK THE HANDLE.
repeat with 1-2 applications every 3-4 months
