I ran an Appliance repair business for 25 years. The in home service call hours were 8AM till 5PM Monday thru Friday. Saturday was in shop only from 8AM to noon. With evening work in the shop I worked over 50 hours a week! Any calls that went after 5PM weekdays or Saturday was double time since this was on my family time if I felt like going on them! On Sundays you could not pay me enough!!
It's not about what time the customer wanted me but what time I could be there and I was usually on time or would call to let them know I was running a little late! I always had plenty of work and happy customers, mainly because I was on time or called so they didn't have to sit around all day waiting for me to arrive!!
