I've been very happy with the performance of my TST 507 TPMS. Their customer service is first rate as well.
Same here. - Ron3rdExplorer IIIRE the TST 507 losing communication with the sensors:
That began to happen when I went to the much longer trailer. Sensors would "drop out" from the display. I discovered I was at the length were a repeater was recommended. I moved the monitor from down low on the console to the top of the dash and never had that problem again. - RCMAN46Explorer

You have and may have and not known it.
If you have sensors on a 5th wheel note next time you go some where without the 5th wheel. When you get out of range of the 5th wheel sensors it will be 1 hour before the receiver will notify you of loss of communication. I have found you can clear the alarm by turning off the receiver then turning it back on.
Thus the problem. If you have a sensor that is marginal it may not be communicating. All it has to do is establish communication once each hour as the timer restarts each time communication is established.
Yep...I've experienced this several times by using the monitor in the toad (507 system) without deleting the motorhome sensors from the monitor. Drive out of range and the alarm sounds 1 hour later. Having said that, I've never experienced a failure of the TST tire transmitter....just the delayed alarm from driving out of range. It's a good system. I'd really like to know if the other manufacturers work the same.

You have missed my point.
"Thus the problem. If you have a sensor that is marginal it may not be communicating. All it has to do is establish communication once each hour as the timer restarts each time communication is established."
You can pickup a nail and have a tire go flat in a couple minutes. If that were to happen during a time the sensor is not communicating the system was of no value.
The Pressure Pro system will alarm a loss of communication in 15 minutes. Still too long in my opinion.
I currently have the TST system but sure it is as good as the Pressure Pro I had previously. - webslaveExplorer

I have the tiretraker from Lawrence electronics and they are very fair to deal with. I have had mine for four years and its one of the best purchases I ever made. That being said, I think the biggest differences between brands is who you buy from and not the unit as they all seem to do the job.
X2 Good monitor (no need for a repeater on my 35' 5er), great service (got a question; just give them a call) at a fair price. Do wish they made an AC charger for the monitor. Only have to charge it about once a month, but, I'm so used to charging phones, Kindles, etc. with wall warts that having that 12v charger wire draped across the dash (hangs in front of my gauges with where I have the monitor mounted) and the only time that I have live 12v plugs in the truck is when it is running. I could use the plug in the 5ers, but, it is behind the TV in the bedroom and a bear to reach... Minor nit-pic on an excellent TPMS unit. - fcooperExplorer

Fred - ncrowleyExplorer III have the Tireminder from Minder Research. I just upgraded the display to the TM55 and I like the display better than the older model I had. I cannot compare to anything else, but the customer service from Minder Research is amazing. They work with you. They send you new seals and batteries each year for 5 years free of charge. I have a repeater in the power compartment of the 39 foot coach. It has never had an issue seeing the sensors on the toad. I have 6 sensors on the coach and 4 on the toad. It is easy to install. I recommend them.
- Bill___KateExplorerWe have the TireMinder TM66 which is their most recent model, and I think might be available exclusively from Camping World TM66. Since we have a TT, we ordered two additonal sensors. It was very easy to set up, and seems to work great. It has some nice features such as replaceable sensor batteries (the unit comes with an extra set of batteries, and the manufacturer will replace them for free for five years), it comes with a repeater/booster that you can install somewhere on the trailer (we put ours on top of the battery box on the tongue), the sensors screw on and off like a valve cap, so it is not a problem to remove them to test them, check the tire or add air (although for more security, you can install a locking collar that requires an allen wrench to remove them), it seems to acquire the signals quickly - manual says up to 20 minutes, but always has been much quicker than that, and it has a mode where you can inactivate the sensors on the towed vehicle once you are unhooked, then reactivate them when you are hooked up and ready to go again.
I have heard that the same system (made in China, of course) may be available from other sources with different names, but don't know that for sure .... - C-BearsExplorerI have ran TPMS flow thru with replaceable batteries for over a year. My kit came with 6 sensors but I can't recall the price. They have been perfect so far.
