That is ultimately your call, we tow a 33' TT with our crewcab Chevy HD gasser and we are pretty long but never and issue towing or backing into a site. This query is a common one with pros and cons to both, only you can decipher what is important and what is not. Plenty of floorplans that may prove suitable for your needs are available in both TT and 5er, spend some time at a RV show or online at YouTube or RVtrader and you will find what you are looking for.
