Hi,
Thanks for the help. Just wanted to add a couple of comments in response. First, I HAVE NOT made up my mind at all as one poster suggested. That's why I am asking here. I am truly trying to understand the pros and cons for my decision, and I don't plan to buy anything for at least a year so I truly am doing research and not justifying a decision. If anything, I am leaning more towards a bumper pull trailer if I can find one that meets my needs (questionable) and a gas 3/4 ton.
A 1 ton truck seems like good advice if I go with the 5th wheel. If I go with a heavy bumper pull then a 3/4 ton seems to be plenty.
And as to me wanting a mobile home....well...here is my situation. I have a two year old son and twin baby girls who are now 7 months old. A separate room is almost a must. Can't mess around with them not getting to sleep on time.
Otherwise, I just want a comfortable place for me to sit at night and to place my drink. A love seat doesn't cut it.
I currently have a Jayflight 29QBH. It is nice and I do like it, but would prefer another slide out in the living area to make it wider, and a more comfortable place to sit.
