They sure do, and the same holds true with a fifth wheel. You get that tail wagging your setup, I can only imagine what would go on.
IMO I have plenty of dog to handle the 13-14K fifth wheel I tow with my Ram 3500, but I sure would hate to make a hard maneuver. IMO anyone towing a trailer or fifth wheel, its something you just can't do . That could be what happened in this case, a hard maneuver, that you can't do towing.
