We do require all rigs to be actual camping units, no sleeping in cars (which might have been the primary reasoning for the OP being denied) etc.
I can see if someone was being vague or was obviously trying to evade answering simple questions about their rig, where a park (mine included) would simply not take a risk and just say "sorry, we cannot accept your rig".
I went camping part of this winter is a friend, a chronic complainer who didnt seem to understand that her dogs had to be quiet all the time. It is really a basic rule for camping. She actually got us kicked out of a campsite altho the owner then relented.
However, there is an entire group of us B RVers who are particularly fascinated with "stealth" camping, DIY and dual purpose RV rigs. Our conversations recently were how to get rid of all decals and other RV identifying markings, even if there are Bs with plain paint jobs. I have to park my RVan on the street in front of my house in a big city (with parking rules that dont allow RVs on the street) AND I want it to be under the radar for thieves even tho I got a robust alarm system.
Then there are the DIY (including me) who have taken a conversion van or something similar and built or rebuilt them inside to exactly our own specs. So I guess all of us are somehow lesser campers then? What are we then, "camping trash?" I camp in mine for 4 months in winter and 1 month in summer with my husband when I hitch his 2014 Teardrop to my 1992 GMC RVan. I am very proud of my 1992 GMC RVan. In fact, a couple days ago a campground owner was complementing me on how efficient and "green" I was with my tiny unit for one.
Yeah, this woman spoke with a mouth full of mush on speakerphone and I couldnt understand what she was asking and asked her several times to repeat. I dont care what the rules are but POST THEM on your website so I will know to avoid you like the plague.
