Arizona: Parking in the valley of shade
The summer sun of southern Arizona can be brutal on RV's. Fortunately we spend a lot of time up in the mountains beating the heat but when we return to our home north of Tucson the coach resides in the designated RV storage yard in our community. Less than 2 miles from our home the yards is fenced, locked and patrolled by the local security guys.
Lucky for us we have the ultimate neighbors:
The coach faces due north so the big fiver on our east and the even bigger Tiffin 40 something tag axle on the west have created a veritable valley of shade for our little 24' C. If either neighbor is gone we put the tire covers on but usually don't have to. Ideally we would have covered storage but around here that would be the equivalent of another coach payment.
