Champion 3100 watt Generator on sale

Some people need a way to justify why they paid way too much for a generator after they realize they did not need to pay that much for a comparable alternative. :B

Dennis... This is an enclosed inverter... It is about the same loudness as the Honda 3000i... They Yamaha is quieter than the Honda by about 2bs according to my meter. AT 699. compared to 2200, at 84 lbs compared to 150 lbs.. I thought, Hey try it.... Can bring it back if loud or I don't like it... I LIKE IT!!!I have run the 15k AC on eco mode...

Don't know if it is the Deal of the Century cause I've seen for sale at that price, many times and different retailers.

Also, using all caps is considered shouting on forums but maybe that was you intention. :R

Ive researched gennys in the past when i was thinking about buying on and I must agree. From all the spec sheets ive seen, the decible rating for the blues, reds and the champions are all within a few points.

Some people are just into name brand things. Like my friend who spent $30.00 on his Yeti tumbler and my $8.00 Ozark Trail from wally-world keeps ice just as long as his.

To each their own I guess. I dont earn your money so its not my place to tell you how to spend it.

Those little ceramic cube heaters draw full power about 1200w
For me running a 1200w heater from generator is a emergency measure
Because we ran out of propane, running that much heat uses the same amount of fuel as running the A/C

I have a 'Personal Heater' for desk use
200w, good for taking the chill off your feet

When on the road I can run it from the the inverter to take the chill out of the bedroom while resting
Not enough heat for overnight in cold weather


I haven't been anywhere that the propane is not enough heat
If it's that cold, I'm moving, if I can

I dont have any affiliation with cabs, Champion etc... Just passing along the info in case it may help someone out.

I got my pull start version yesterday for $750.

My old open frame Champ gen was stolen. I needed a replacement and an ice storm is due here this weekend. The local Loews was sold out of everything.

I've not seen them any cheaper than $750. Although I wouldn't do anything on Black Friday.
