Flow rite battery watering system quick connect

Question

We in installed the Flow Rite battery watering system on our battery bank last summer ( Pro Fill RV). It works great. The problem I have is one of the quick coupler split, one the grey valve stays out and I can't connect the water hose, the third I struggled but got the water hose on. It claims on their website that they are resistant to freezing damage. Well we got to well below zero this winter so maybe it was too much.

I probably should have removed the hose and capped it. Anyone else have similar issues?

Yes, a similar issue happened to me this past winter.  I had a spare, so I just switched them out.  I made a note to myself to drain off the excess water when I winterize next winter.

Contact the company. I had a couple of bad cap gaskets and tried to order some replacements. They sent me a full set of replacements without charge. Good company and super customer service.
