Looking for a tiny, fanless space heater

We sometimes carry a couple of these 150 watt heaters with us in the RV, and also use them all the time at home for low wattage personal heat. They have a small fan in them that blows just enough air for directed heat right where you want it on your upper body. They also have a fan-only mode for personal cooling. They're no longer available, but we found ours at second hand stores for under $10 each:

For a purchase without searching second hand stores, I'd definitely look at a new low wattage (150 watt) completely fan-less personal heater like this one:

mine will be 4yrs old this spring

its on right now blowing a little warm air on the DW
later i will place it under the desk to warm my feet and legs
and i only have to move it a few feet, stays in the same wall plug

What is the lowest temperature that heater pad can be set to? I'm thinking they might be excellent waste tank heaters.

I have a couple of waterbed heater mats at my S&B, similar to this:

I could put one on the floor -- or the wall -- if i am willing to wait till next year or have someone ship it to me.

It's funny because i do put a regular heating pad (the kind you put on a sore back) on the floor under my feet. My cat gets one too, for his tiny feet. Or sometimes we share.

But the 300watt waterbed one is a nice output for heating the van.... if I can avoid having it get too hot and melt stuff or itself. Would require careful positioning of its thermostat's probe.

Or the My Heat, or the quartz heater... these also seem to have good potential and would involve less tinkering.

X2. You can buy under carpet heater pads. But, I don't know about the weight.
They would be perfect for a RV. They won't take up floor space.

We use two of these low profile oil filled heaters in our OFF-ROAD Campers.



I have seen smaller ones... Also they make a baseboard oil filled heaters as well...



To me oil filled heaters is the way to go in RV Trailers - No open flame or red hot cores etc... No noise...

i have this small little 200w ceramic heater called a "My Heat"
on off, no settings, completely enclosed, but it does have a small fan
the amount of air flow is small, i doesn't bother my allergies

maybe it would work for you
