- VTRExplorerSorry, I have tried the rolling up for so many minutes, but it has not made a pit of difference for me.
- Tom_DianeExplorerConcentrated SIMPLE GREEN! We bought an atomomizer at the local garden center.
SIMPLE GREEN mixed as directed or a bit stronger if you want.
Spray the underside and we use a brush with a telescoping handle, brush and respray, thats it! Sometimes I have sprayed it before putting it away and it removes what ever gets caught in the roll or it at least will sweep right off! - Desert_CaptainExplorer III

Simple Green will strip the wax off of your coach. If you use this method do not get any on the RV itself.
:C - Dave_H_MExplorer IIi used the awsum and it worked great this winter.
However i had to scrub the heck out of the nasty looking underside of the awning. - Tom_DianeExplorerIve heard that Desert Captain, but the atomizer is easy to control the spray.
Havent had any problem so far, but thanks for the reminder. - steve-n-vickiExplorerAwning cleaner sprayed on , let set a few min , then a 1600 psi pressure washer and it looks new
- UuallyExplorerWe tried bleach & dawn , and the Mr. Clean sponge. The Mr. Clean sponge did a better job with less effort.
- PawPaw_n_GramExplorerI've found that old fashioned sponge mop is an excellent aid to scrubbing stubborn sections of the underside of the awning.
- 2012ColemanExplorer IIMold Armor - it works. Get it at Lowes in the paint section. I used it 4 months ago before covering the TT. Deploy the awning, spray it on and do other stuff for a while. come back and mold/mildew is gone.
I had mildew on the white gasket around the front storage access doors. Sprayed this stuff on them, came back later - no stains - pure white again.
Fast forward to 2 weeks ago - took cover off of TT, deployed awning. It was wet, but no mold. Try it - you will like it.
