From my window, I can see....various falcons and hawks (mostly Pale Male's descendants), different types of owls; a "racacoon" (as my DGD used to pronounce them) family crossing the street or beaming from the knothole of a tree and recently, chipmunks playing in the undergrowth of a nearby park. Various colorful song birds have become abundant in the city, as well as an egret or two stopping by for a visit. Then there was the coyote who prolly wandered down here via a local commuter train track and wound up "skating" on the ice at a local pond. Was hysterical that some city dwellers thought it was an abandoned dog :D

I live too high up to take decent pictures unfortunately:(.
Still it's a nice respite from the summer season when I can see critters closer to the ground.
