It makes no sense to spend $20 on a lock that can be opened with a $2 screwdriver. Find the cheapest locks that have different keys than what you have now.

Didja miss the earlier pic or was it just too small for ya to see that since it uses no keys at all there's no place for a screwdriver in the "$20.00 lock"?
If so, here's the pic again, only bigger!:)
.
Hmmmmm -
*YOU* missed the BIG picture, LOL!
C'mon, FK -
a flat head screwdriver *ANYWHERE* along the edge of the compt is the "combination"!..:R
Same for keys - *NO* key necessary. (thieves don't bother with keys)
Soooo you spend the bucks for the locks - which *ADVERTISE* there's something in there more valuable than your sewer hose.....and you get to spend *WAY* more bucks repairing/replacing the compt doors.
BTW - all my compt doors have non-locking, "thumb-turn" latches.
RVs since 1970 - nothing stolen yet.
Sure there's always a first time!..:(
Yikes! -
I'll have to replace a bunch of odds & ends - but *NOT* the compt doors..:R
Unsubscribing "pompomgirl" - if you're worried about the folks with keys - your fellow campers - you should stay home!
Worry about the "passing yahoos" *without* keys - their screwdriver works for ignition locks too..:S
However, if you really must carry some treasure in there, get a metal box, even a slide-out type, bolt it to the floor (bolts inside the box) & secure *it* with a serious padlock (like an "Abus" - can't get bolt cutters on it).
Otherwise, don't store anything expensive in storage compts..;)
