- Desert_CaptainExplorer III"You came a week too early. No wind today, and low 70's. I waved at you when you left the other morning. You have a really nice coach"
Thank you, sorry we did not get a chance to meet as we had very little to do while waiting for the wind to die.
As far as the rest of this thread I am LMAO. The sign could not be more clear and arguing that that guy is legally parked is very telling.... and not in a good way. As noted, just across the road was a large lot welcoming RV's, boat/trailer and semi's etc... That would have involved walking an additional 50 yards, oh the humanity. :S
You see this sort of nonsense every day with folks running lights nose to tale ignoring the red, parking in handicapped spaces, throwing trash out the window etc., etc.. kinda of sad really but when you stop and realize these folks vote and make babies it explains a lot.... sigh.
:R - Reader1ExplorerI am a rule follower... but not my husband. I could see him parking here if he was just going to run into the store for a minute while I am rereading the sign to him horrified. But then I would never ride my bike the opposite direction on one way roads in campgrounds, or go out an entrance in a store. He does things like this just to see if I will follow him, which I never do. 42 years later, he can't change me and I can't change him. We both agree that we would never use a handicap parking place. Yikes!

Dang GPS never said anything about that turn !!!!:S - Playtime_IIExplorerLooks like asphalt. If it was the slightest bit warm and I made tight turns (to stay within the isles) my steer, my duals and my tag would leave marks...or worse.

Always amazed at the folks out there who think rules are just for "other people".
We are outnumbered by the "ME" generation. It's all about "ME"! "ME" first! The rules aren't meant for "ME"!
Just look at some of the comments making excuses for not obeying signs. I didn't see any acceptations as to why or when that sign or similar signs should be ignored. :R
No where does it say " No Motorhomes". :B - BumpyroadExplorer

another reason I wouldn't buy a rental.
dang, "cognitive dissonance' I had to look that one up. :s
bumpy - NewbiecampersExplorerHey, look, there is a conclusion.......Jump!
Did any of you naysayers stop to consider, as bdpreece mentioned, that they may have had permission to be there? - fj12ryderExplorer IIIDon't tell me, you guys also stand at the corner and wait for the "WALK" sign before you cross even though there isn't a car in sight. And never go "IN" the "OUT" door or "UP" the "DOWN" staircase. :) Lockstep just doesn't cut it for me, just too much of a contrarian.

You know the funny thing about "Me" and what you said is applicable to every **** generation out there. People just use a healthy dose of cognitive dissonance to justify it when it comes to them and are quick to pick up stones to throw when it is someone else.
I won't judge the guy because the specifics of the situation are not available. For all we know he could of been told to park there or maybe he took a bit of liberty in an empty parking lot. Either way, I don't really know so I'm not about to stone him for it. I've probably parked somewhere I wasn't technically supposed to but did anyway because of safety or got permission from a manager etc. despite there being a sign.
So try and not fall off your horse. - dodge_guyExplorer IIYou guys are clueless. obviously they don't want anyone parking where the sign is at. the guy parked away from the sign, so he is all clear! notice that you can park by the pink barrel, but since its next to the barrel with the sign its sending mixed messages.
