Lizzie, I think you should do what you feel is the right thing to do. We all often go with life as it is today, not thinking about what tomorrow will be. If you can afford to make things easier on you where that you will enjoy things better, then why not? I know that I find myself thinking more and more about tomorrow. While I am only 44 yrs old, I know things will be going down hill physically for us. We had a TT and 3/4 ton truck. It was a non issue for me, but for my wife, it would of been difficult on here having to manage it all by herself. That is one reason why we are glad with our decision of trading up to a Class C. While it does not have auto levelers, it is much more manageable than the TT/truck combo. And as one mentioned, it became a pain having to go get the TT out of storage and then back in storage. The Class C sits in our driveway and we can just about hop in and go. There are fewer steps to get inside the RV, which will be a blessing in the future. We probably won't keep this rig forever. Just long enough until our daughter is out of the house. I don't see us going back to a truck/trailer combo. We rest easily knowing my wife can handle everything on the Class C. At least a lot more so than before.
