- Mountain_MamaExplorerDepending on the weather, a trip to the Natchez, MS area is on our calendar. Wanted to go last year for our 40th anniversary but DH had surgery so hoping it works out!
- WoodGlueExplorerFor the days leading up to New Years, I'll be decorating a float destined to be in the Tournament of Roses Parade in Pasadena! Glue and glitter, fun for the clothes!
WoodGlue - PGR_SkyeExplorerHad planned to be with a recently widowed niece in Ocala, Fl for Christmas, but with the forecast of ice with snow on top coming in tonight - up to 12" by tomorrow night, we figure we'll probably be at home for Christmas because we'll probably get more snow before now and then. Don't know about New Years, but we usually make it a point to not be on the road that night.
Last year we went down there to spend Christmas, but heard a big snow storm was coming in Christmas day here in Indiana and husband had a medical procedure scheduled for Jan. 2. Knew if we didn't get home before the snow hit, we'd never get the motorhome up the hill to our house and he'd miss his procedure. We wound up on the road Christmas eve day all the way through Christmas day. Got home in time to unload what we needed and to winterize the motorhome before the storm hit. It was a bad one. At the last minute the doctor cancelled the procedure, too. Bummer! - Highway_4x4ExplorerBIG dog show in Palm Springs in Indio at the Polo grounds. 2nd largest AKC show in the country. My Berner will be there, with me. Weekend after New Years.
- Clay_LExplorerAfter full timing for 11 years we are now snow birding and are in Bouse AZ for the winter. Having a cold snap here - 50s during the day and 30s at night. That's okay though - it's 19 today back in Palisade CO and will get down to 5 tonight.
I just found out that electric turkey roasters exist and bought one so I don't have to cut our Christmas turkey in half length ways so it lay flat in the pan and will fit in our RV oven.
Yeah I know - everyone in the USA knew about electric turkey roasters but me. Ten years of cutting the turkey in half - darn.
New Years - right here in the motor home watching the ball drop in NYC and bed soon after (ten pm here. - BombfixerExplorerHeaded to Corinth Mississippi to see some of the Grandkids.

80 degrees.
In what appears that, by tomorrow, will be the ONLY state in the USA that won't have snow, sleet, ice, rain, and cold temperatures. - TPUCExplorerDowntown Gatlinburg TN for the big street party
