What did you do when teenagers no longer want to camp?
13 & 16 year old. I know it is coming. I can see the signs. Therapy needed & quick.

mine only this year has decided to stay home (when he was invited along)
I never forced mine to do anything on a trip except be there, there was no other option. sometimes he would mope around, sometimes he would go make friends, sometimes he would be family sociable, I JUST LET HIM BE HIM. if he did not want to go on a hike, fine we would go anyways, if he did not want to fish, fine we would go anyways. but as for the trip itself,,, that where we are living for the weekend, week, or 2 weeks so tough sht you are living as trailer trash with us.
oh he is 23 now, but now I am going through it again with my GF' kids, her 13 year old is starting to try to dominate the situations by saying he is not going unless__________,, well how would you like to spend the weekend with your grand parents then, away from your friends anyways, with their tight control and old fashion beleifs ,,, he changes his mind quickly so far.
