- pianotunaNomad IIIHi,
It is a good quality disconnect switch.
For my detailed thoughts on Solar surf here:

I'll drink to that! ;) - LwiddisExplorer III confirm it's RED!
- BarneySNomadThis is my setup. The switch functions as a battery disconnect.

Nope, says single circuit so just an on/off battery disconnect switch. - D_E_BishopExplorerLooks like this.
- CA_TravelerExplorer IIIConnect the solar to the battery posts to bypass the switch if required by your CC.
Some CCs require that the panels be disconnected before the CC battery wiring and battery connected before the panels. In this case you need to correctly turn off the solar switches first before the above battery switch. And the opposite when reconnecting.
On the other hand you gave NO indication of how that switch is wired so we SHOULD NOT ASSUME that it's a full battery disconnect switch. - twins89ExplorerThank you we weren't sure if it had anything to do with impedeing us from getting a solar panel controller.
- bob213ExplorerA very nice, good quality Blue Sea battery disconnect switch.
