I have towed my SUV on a trailer behind my Class A for 10 years.The trailer was used for multiple things not just towing my SUV, so it made sense to have it, now I no longer need the trailer for those other things so I was thinking of buying a Jeep to pull behind the RV.I have seen the info on what can be towed.What I wanted to find, is there a place to buy a tow suv that comes with all the equipment to tow it already installed ?Thanks

I traded a 2008 HHR 43K miles about a month ago, that was ready to tow in the Miami, FL area.Sorry! I just checked their web site and don't think they have it anymore.

I checked those websites and only found 1 jeep that met my criteria.Maybe I am going about this the wrong way, thought I could buy a complete package. I guess I'll have to buy the SUV, then the towing equipment.Your thoughts ?

Bring it to a RV dealer that you "trust". Have them fit it with the proper equipment.

If you decide to purchase a Jeep, do not trust the dealer to know if you can dinghy tow it or not. We went through this when we purchased our 2014 Jeep Cherokee Limited. They would sell you anything without doing the research. The Jeep Cherokee (2014-15) have to be equipped with the Active II drive. Not sure about the Wrangler or Grand Cherokee.Please see my post about the 2014 Cherokee Limited before you purchase one. We are having a couple of serious towing problems that have not been addressed yet by Chrysler.

Saw a late model vw diesel on Craigs list in phoenix today with all tow accessories. $13K. Take a look and see if its what you want. Had about 40+K on it.

I traded one (manual transmission 2001 Ranger) to a local used car dealer in February, with towbar. I bought it from a different used car dealer, ready to tow, with towbar, in 2006. So they are out there to find.

Neither dealer advertised the truck as ready to tow, it is not something most dealers want buyers thunking about, narrows the market too much, raises suspicions for non-towing buyers, thus this attitude makes them hard to find.

Brand new vehicle set up to tow? I don't think any dealer does this, there are too many options and "ready to tow" means too many different things to different buyers.

You might try finding one on Craig's list, ebay or do a google search. I might be able to provide some info on a dealer in our area. I don't want to break forum rules, so I will not identify the business name here.

When I went to the Cadillac dealer last March to buy an SRX the sales guy asked me if it was going to be my only vehicle. I said yes, I want one to tow behind my motorhome. He said to me, you must have a trailer already then so you can haul it. I said never mind, I decided I don't want one now. I then proceeded to the next Cadillac dealer closer to my home!

You might give Lichtsinn RV in Forest City, IA a call. They have a car dealership as well as RV's and I've seen vehicles listed on their website that are ready to tow.
