As long as it doesn't give me cause to undergo decontamination.
If you buy a new car or truck and it starts falling apart, are you okay with that? - gboppExplorerI'm just curious. If you buy a new car or truck and it starts falling apart, are you okay with that?
- Golden_HVACExplorerI don't really think I would be happy to learn that my RV is falling apart.
Delamination, like stated above is the wall panels coming loose from the interior panel and insulation in between them. Driving with delaminated walls, and the outside parts might just blow off the RV! And if you damage the other cars that the parts hit, you could be in for more than the $300,000 limit on your insurance policy. . .
Fred. - DutchmenSportExplorerWell, I certainly hope I never have to face decontamination - ever. But I SURE do understand why anyone would be, (is) concerned about it. You pay $25,000 - $50,000 for camper and then after a short while it begins to fall apart! Yes, delamination is exactly that! The exterior skin of the camper is literally coming apart. It means water has gotten inside the walls, and face it ... once there's water damage the camper is almost always ruined forever. And THEN!!!! You have 14 more years of finance payments to make! Delamination is a very bad problem! It's just not weeds in front of the fence, its the house behind the fence that's crumbling down!
- The_TexanExplorerIf you ever saw the remnants of what is left after delam peeled going down the highway, you would understand. What you "see" is just the tip of the iceberg on what is happening under the skin. Can it be repaired, maybe in a half a$$ed way, but you will NEVER stop the progression enough to have a decent RV.
