I'd suggest to just put the blue stuff in your reservoir and proceed. If you encounter a hard freeze on your windshield in the morning and want to remove it quickly, they make this thing called a scraper. If you drive in snow or freezing rain and the truck is warmed up, you don't need windshield cleaner until the snow stops and you get the road spray from other vehicles.
