- Hector_BravoExplorerTake cap off resivour to see if it is a vacuume issue.
- roam1Explorermine was recently clogged with water mold, took a good flush to get it going
- Sam_SpadeExplorerSome simple tests are in order.
Remove the hoses from the nozzles; run the washer. If water comes out the hoses, your nozzles are plugged up.
If it doesn't, then there is a fault farther back down the hose OR the pump is bad OR the pump isn't getting power.
Find the pump. Remove the output hose. Run the washer and check for output.
If none, check for power at the pump.
If none, check the fuse and wiring.
If the pump has power but no output, then the pump is bad or the input is plugged. - jhladyExplorerBill,
could also be as simple as cleaning out the orifices where the fluid comes out on your wiper arms. Sometimes wax and other "stuff" get in them and plugs them up. I take a needle or straight pin and clean them out.
Hope this helps.
John - WNYBobExplorerNow if this was an old VW Bug you might have to fill the spare tire up!
- KennedycamperExplorerListen for the pump. No noise, check for voltage at pump. You hear noise, check pump for clog.

My washers won't spray! The wipers work fine, but the washer won't spray even though there is plenty of washer fluid in the tank. Any ideas or suggestions?
Thanks,

based on your post and as most would here supposing the obvious has been checked by yourself before posting then we assume
your saying pump runs but no fluid? so bad pump or broken disconnected or pluged main line - stickdogExplorerDo you hear the pump? I had the same problem last year. I believe the tech filled my reservoir and didn't replace the cap when I had a oil change. There was some **** that got in it and blocked the flow. I took a piece of clear plastic hose and siphoned the fluid out and it appeared a mouse may have fallen in as it looked like hair that came out. Could be little mouse bones still in the tank but my washers work again.
- BB_TXNomadCheck the water hose. May have broken or come loose at one of the fittings.
Can you hear the pump? - J-RoosterExplorerI'm not saying this in your case! Sometimes the reservoirs gets so empty to the point where it takes a long time for the washer fluid to get back to the windshield.
