Ariston Dryer

Question

Hi All.I have an Ariston (Splendide) AS66VX Dryer.  I have either a bad thermostat or heating element because it wont heat up.  So far I have only been able to find the parts at one place online.  Does anyone have any experience with aftermarket parts that may interchange with this brand??Steve

Not yet. It's either one of 2 thermostats or the heating element. My fifth wheel is several hours from my home and it is a real pain to get the dryer out. My plan is to replace all three. This is a new to me unit and the dryer came with it. Everything else works on the dryer  as far as I can tell. so I figured these are the most likely culprits.
