Awning working backwards after fabric replacement

Hi, Sorry if this is posted in the wrong spot...just replaced fabric on 17' Faulkner awning, put 14 turns counterclockwise on front spring, same clockwise on rear and the tension is exactly backwards...

Explain working Backwards. ALL RV awnings (even a more than 35 year old Faulkner) the Arms are wound by turning the arm or spring Counterclockwise on the RH. and CLOCKWISE on the Left hand. Does the awning roll up to store but fabric is backwards???? Doug

Look at this video. Granted it is an Electric awning but I want to know if you have the same problem with the fabric reversed or backwards.
