Battery power going off line

Thx for all the responses. I think I found the problem...the wires on the battery by-pass switch had come loose causing a break in the DC circuit. Now that I have repaired that, everything seems to work normally, This is just one of several sloppy production problems I have discovered on this new camper...I am a bit disappointed in the workmanship I have seen so far. Also disappointed with the Lance service folks who were no help over the phone. Fortunately, these are relatively simple systems to work on.

Battery is #1 suspect.

Does the unit have it's own generator?

Does it have an "Energy Management System"?

Does it have an inverter with integral charger?

Many possibilities. Disconnect the battery - if DC works fine on shore power, then test the battery separately.

Possibilities: auto setting circuit breaker in the power lead from the battery to the distribution panel, blown fuse in power lead,
bad connection on battery terminals, open circuit from batteries to distribution panel, dead battery, battery master disconnect in "off" position or not fully "on.

How was the battery determined to be fully charged? The DC system operates separately from the AC system, the only link being the AC powered converter. It is always "on".

Sounds like a bad battery.

Yep, its a long way to the dealer...was looking for an easy fix if it was a common failure mode.
