Boliy Pro 3600 sie generator battery

I have one of these generators and overall I'm happy with it however the electric starter battery has been dead for some time and won't recharge when running the generator even for more than an hour. The battery has been dead for over a year so I want to start over with a new one. Anyone know where I can find the replacement battery for this unit?
Also, has anyone ever hooked up a battery tender to one of these? the wires are soldered to the battery terminals and I hate to cut the wires to scab in my charger wires.

    Pull the battery and go someplace like Batteries Plus and see if they have it. They had one for my dads wheelchair and it was odd.

    I don't have one of these gens so I don't know the exact replacement battery but I have seen posts that other folks extended the wires and added a cheaper external battery to the gen.

    Basically you would need to make a mount to hold and shelter the battery and simply add extra wire to the new battery.

    Since the battery is dead, you have nothing to lose, cut the wires as close to the battery terminals as possible then add connectors of your choice to the remaining wires..
