1. You state running direct to the TV cable works
2. The most common LACK of cable in the list below
1. Input to RV, you usually have Cable and a SAT input. THOSE are reversed. Connect the Cable to the SAT input and see if it works
2. You have 3 coax inputs on the back of the TV ant Booster. Ant/2nd TV/CABLE. If you have 2 or more TV's and all the TV's receive OTA roof top antenna reception, then the coax behind the booster is correct. IF you do not receive OTA on all TV's the odds are the 2nd TV and Cable coax are reversed.
3. You have a few coax plates at your main entertainment panel. You have 2 or more coax wall plates. Some for a roof top Sat/ some for that outside cable/SAT input. They wired the cable coax to one of those plates and NOT to the Booster Cable input. Doug

Does the campground have digital cable?

If so, when you scan channels, do you see an Analog and a Digital list of channels?

If "Yes" to digital cable & "No" to Digital list of channels, then your TV probably doesn't have a QAM tuner (needed for digital cable).

Suspect list:
Bad cable or connector park (Confirmed good)
Bad cable park to RV. note. one common "Bad" is the center pin is cut too short.

Bad cable or connector INSIDE the RV (I have that)
Bad switch (The wall plate/booster or the box of many buttons).

Best way to test
You need a cable and a double female (Barrel) connector or 2

One at a time sub your new cable for the existing

IE:
YOu did direct to TV so you know the new cable is good
Ok, now hook the new cable to the SWITCH. if you get a good photo you know the inlet to switch is the issue.

on my RV this is several lengths of cable with couplers (Barrel connectors) so I have the choice of running a whole new run or finding each connector and subbing for that run... I may go the single run route. Way better.. and I'll use RG-11 or RG-6 not that it matters that much but the cost difference is almost non existant and the quality .. much better.

If the tv's cable scan function doesn't find any view-able channels, try running the tv's TV scan. Some older/cheaper parks provide OTA (or equivalent) signals on their park coax lines.

So, are you saying that running a cable from the campground post to the TV gives you a good signal but running it through the RV (and possible splitter/splitters) does not give you a good signal? If so, you already have the answer to your question.

Had the exact same problem in Bridgeport, CA. We had stayed at that park previously. Last time, no cable. Turns out the local provider went out of business, but the park still had cable advertised on their website.

Check with the manager.

The wire inside or at the external connection is bad. You will have to replace every connection to solve the problem. I strongly recommend using the compression type F connectors. It is what all of the professionals use. You do need a special tool to install them.
