chaulking roof
I was told that I need to reseal around all the openings on my roof . do I have to remove the a/c and shower skylight tv antenna and vents or just remove the old silicon and reseal them:@

Look into eternbond tape in 4" and you can go over the old caulk, and not have to worry about it for 15-20 years. For the AC it sits on it's own gasket that you snug up from the inside( don't over tighten) so you don't need to seal that. And don't use silicon. Eternabone will not stick over silicon so if you have it on the roof you will have to remove it.
