I was told that I need to reseal around all the openings on my roof . do I have to remove the a/c and shower skylight tv antenna and vents or just remove the old silicon and reseal them:@

What do find lacking with Eternabond sealing tapes? I was a sceptic about them, initially, but have used two types of Eternabond tapes and find them to be a very good product.
BTW, I'm with you on the removal, clean, and reseal. I don't see any upside to just sealing over a failed sealant. Most guys don't want to take the extra steps because it's more work.
