Yes fuse the inverter to the size of the wire from it to the buss.

Ok so I picked up 4 Trojan T-105s today, the battery boxes showed and I should have the 75amp Powermax charger tomorrow. I am planning on two banks each with a battery switch and then to a 650amp buss bar, the Powermax will connect to the buss bar. I am getting a 2000watt PSW inverter that will Also connect to the bus bar, should the inverter be fused?

I am also installing a lift gate plug for connecting to a truck campers batteries, I was planning on a 120 amp breaker on this Incase of issues with the umbilical or the truck camper. Eventually I will be installing a charge line from the truck, this I was planning on a 120amp breaker as well on each end.

This is where the batteries are being installed, between the cab and my commercial work cap. I am planning a bank of two GC2 on each side of the truck with a enclosure in between for the battery switches, bus bars and charger and eventually a outback inverter.

I have a similar 50 quart ICECO JP50 with the SECO compressor. The running Amps on that compressor are from 5 to 4 Amps according to the specs and my clamp on meter.

The .87A must be an average draw at a particular ambient temperature. You can also confirm this by running the ARB on 120VAC through a Kill-A-Watt.

Yes I think that is average over 24 hours. I will check over a 24 hour period when I get it and see how close it is.

AFAIK, that ARB has a 12V compressor motor of the Danfoss design(Now owned by SECO). It is a fine fridge.

Should work. :) Here is how to operate it (para 10) You must mount it where you can get at the two holes in the side, and you need a small flashlight and little screwdriver to work the switch and the pot.

You also must have the battery disconnected when you want to accurately set the voltage so the battery voltage does not skew the voltage at the converter's terminals. Also you need a voltmeter tied in where you can see it when you are turning the pot.

On rebrands, it might not be enough to have the same specs! You might also want the same battery case colours. I see the Interstate 210AH ones on the Costco site are all black. The "real" Interstate HCLs (reportedly made by Trojan) are black and green. That means they didn't just use regular HCLs, but I don't know more. Hmmmm. You were right to be concerned anyway.

T-105s here are going for about $163 US. (using 71 cent dollars) I chose rebranded East Penn GC15s at about $124, which AFAIK are a quality battery. Perhaps there are rebranded or actual brand GC15s in your area for a good price.

You can tell GC15s even if rebranded by having the same specs as a GC15 by size , weight, and 230AH.

Well I looked at the interstate GC2 that Costco sells but most of the reviews are bad.
