Stabilizers are just that---Too stabilize the RV. I have replaced scores of rear stabilizers that were extended and the customer forgot to retract before he used the front tongue jack and raised the front of the trailer and bent and collapsed the rear stabilizers. NEVER use Stabilizers to lift the RV to level or do anything other that Stabilizing. Doug
