- NaioExplorer III meant for his settings question, MrWiz.
- MrWizardModerator"forum technical support"
Is for FORUM problems, access posting etc...
This forum Tech Issues, is for everything electrical, batteries solar panels meters
Also plumbing, even mechanical like steps vents etc - pianotunaNomad IIIIf I needed to equalize I'd separate them out for that purpose once a month. Since AGM formats do not encourage equalization I don't do that very often. Peukert losses are much reduced by using both banks at once. Charging is slower because depth of discharge is 50%. Even with AGM tapering of charge does happen.
Having the switches does allow me to use one bank while charging the other. That's good for truly getting to 100% state of charge using my (by today's standards) tiny solar farm. - NaioExplorer IIIf I have 2 battery banks, do I need 2 of these chinese meters?
- NaioExplorer II@ len poleshaj, i recommend you start a new thread in a different sub forum, the one called 'forum technical support'.
Yes, I know the forum names are very confusing :(. - len_poleshajExplorerI also picked up one of the cheap units, but I can not figure out how to program the thing. No programing instructions came with it. I played with it and about the only consistent action I get out of if it is the voltage and depowering it to rest anything that it might have registered. Help!

Sounds great! - brulazExplorerHeh, no, the shunt is bolted right to the neg post of the battery bank.
But yes, the meter is mounted in a small, bright blue plastic toy box. We can't remember what came in it, but it has a label with one of the evil Star Wars characters on it (just looked it up: his name was Darth Maul). I left the label on.
Hey, it works! - MrWizardModeratorhe did not mount it in the open to be seen
or maybe he is talking about the shunt - NaioExplorer IIA toy box???
