I there a length where a 6 point leveling system should be on a 5th wheel? Looking at a Jayco 38FLS. It only has 4 point leveling. The owner is also replacing the auto level with manual switches as he said the auto level has been a pain and that he already replaced the circuit board once.
Also, the rear levelers do not fully contract. I have looked at other Jayco's and have notice the same thing. They stick down about 6 inches from the underbelly. Should this be a concern? I am guessing the rear would drag before hitting the stabilizer bars
I have the 6 point auto level and can tell you the work great and most times the didn't work was operator error, there is a learning curve. If it's not leveling it's usually the systems lost zero point, LCI speak for level. It's simple to reset if you read the manual. I have had one failure in 4 years of 3/4 time camping, an auto resetting circuit breaker quit auto resetting, carried at local auto parts.
