shore power connection led light flashing ??

OK, that sounds like the charger isn't on which seems consistent with the blue led not on. ie Most newer chargers don't need the battery connected to run the lights.

Normally I'd use a voltmeter to find the problem. It could be a loose wire, etc. However with a new rig the dealer might be the best option.

The lights are 12V and need either the charger which uses AC or the battery. Do you have DC voltage and do the lights work when the battery is switched on?

Keep the battery charged with a auto charger if required. Discharged batteries have a shorter life.


The lights do work when the battery is switched on.

Perhaps use a replacement with no led. I don't care for the led in the cover as the wires have to flex and bend. Take a picture of the wiring before disconnecting.

checked the voltage inside the tt and its at 122.XX, also now the light on the lid is out completely, but the led on the power cord is on, always was, im thinking its the led light itself having issues, will replace the whole unit and let you know

The standard voltage should be 108-132V.

FYI No equipment on your rig or cord etc is able to detect that you are plugged into 20A or 30A including your F30INSPS. ie They are the same type of circuit and the only difference is that your home CB will trip before your 30A rig CB.

But something is causing that led to flash.

There is limited information on your F30INSPS. However, it's designed for the marine environment and all indications are that the blue led should be on (not flashing) when your are plugged in at home.

I would not use that home plug or your adapter until you find out why the led is flashing. Try a different outlet on a different home CB and a different adapter - most RVers have the 20/30 adapter.

Is the house plug on a GFCI or arc fault protector? Is it 3 prongs? Also test the plug with a standard household analyzer and if OK add a load like a ceramic heater (you may need an adapter for the 2 male plugs).

Question: When you plug into 30 amps at an RV park does it blink or glow steady..
yes, i never saw this light flash at a 30 amp connection at the campground, it always glowed steady, when at home i plug into a normal wall receptacle with an adapter, so maybe thats the issue, its telling me its not seeing 30 amps ?????

Question2/suggestion: Have you plugged in a Kill-A-Watt meter inside, pressed the Volts button and logged the reading, and what is it.
i will check this out today, but i did this in the past and show anywhere between 118 and 122 volts, so that seems ok ??
