steps/backup camera/dashboard ac - not working

Have a 2008 Phaeton. Steps will not retract, backup camera went out and a/c on dash will not come on. Have checked fuse box inside the coach and outside. Could bad steps be causing all 3 things to sto...

ALL 3 items are thru a relay/solenoid that is activated by the Ignition side of the key switch. That solenoid sends power to the extra fuse panel for those chassis items, It is usually located in the LF outside storage in front of the LF tire. Try turning the Engine on and off a few times waiting about 30 seconds before attempts. Also, IF your coach batteries are dead, those items will not work. Doug
