My TT is typical laminated wall construction and many places where items are fastened with screws are stripped out. Since the screw threads only have the thin laminate and foam to grip that is no surprise, especially since most are installed by indifferent assembly workers. My concern though is how to repair the screw holes. I know sometimes screws can be replaced with larger screws but that sometimes is not possible. I am sure this is a very common problem. I would like to hear what repair methods have been used. My most pressing problem is #4 screws mounting an item that cannot use larger screws to the outside wall. Ideas appreciated.

Toothpick's coated with Super Glue GEL, shoved into the hole, use enough so last one is sort of forced in. Allow to dry and then drill a SMALL pilot hole for the screw to go into.

1. Fill the hole with wood putty, let it dry and reapply the screw.2. Put a toothpick or two in the hole to take up space and reapply the screw.3. Use a molley bolt screw.4. You might even try filling the hole with liquid nails, let it dry and then reapply the screw. (that's what I've used in the past).

I would have said match sticks, they're larger in diameter.

I do :B
Use them all the time to fill stripped holes in cabinets, door hinges etc.
Toothpicks in small holes and wooden dowels in large holes.
Coated with glue of your choice. Let dry. Re-install screw.
Pilot hole in dowels.

And use a hand screw driver......not a power one or you'll be redoing it again.

Thanks for the replies. Don't know why I didn't think of it before, but after posting the question I Googled it and found the matchstick or toothpick method. As I mentioned the current problem was for #4 screws so I used toothpicks. Worked great. Now to fix several others.
As Old Biscuit said, hand screwdriver! If the mfgr had practiced this there probably wouldn't be a problem.

If the screw head is not exposed, you could possibly use an RV Oscar rivet made by Dometic. Hole size can't be bigger than 3/16". Very strong. Oscar rivets

I'm not so sure the toothpick trick will work because the luan plywood is so thin. I would find some luan in a hidden/inconspicuous spot somewhere and test it. You don't want to mess up an existing screw hole anymore than it may be now.
