Actually they make both stabilizing and leveling jacks the latter being a little more expensive. OP just might have leveling jacks on his rig and if he does then he has the capability to lift his van tires off the ground. I have used both and leveling jacks are the way to go as there is no need to put tires on blocks.
OP since your hands are bad I would say that your best bet would be to level your van with blocks under the tires then all you would need to do is just put the jacks down tight with your drill. This way you should be able to get the jacks tight without the drill twisting in your hands.
