Toilet into black tank...not sure this looks right?

Question on a 2011 Lance 1685 black tank/toilet... Trying to figure out if we have an issue or if its just the first time we've noticed something... Not able to add a picture, but what we're seeing...

I think what you are looking at is the stepped sidewall of the tank that rests on the angle bar that supports the tank. Sometimes due to location of the toilet and the way the tank fits under the trailer the hole cut into the top of the tank for the toilet could be right at the edge of the tank top.
