- MrWizardModeratorI have owned RVs that had air adjustment on the tube
But easy to make your own with ALU duct tape or a bent piece of sheet metal
The little spring clips from gas struts, might work, they look about the right size - GjacExplorer IIIJeff you probably have fine particles of rust in your tube blocking some flow. Your burner tube looks good from the picture. Do you have a hard time starting the refer flame? Does the flame flicker or is it constant yellow? The slots in the tube rust also causing the air to propane ratio to be off. After cleaning mine multiple times the flame looked like yours, was hard to start and flickered. I made a slider to go over the tube to adjust the air because I could not buy a direct replacement for the refer due to age. Norcold wanted me to by a whole new refer. The slider got the flame more blue and worked for a couple of years until the slots rusted out almost completely. Finally I found out I could replace the burner with another part number but had to flair the tube end. This fixed the problem with a nice blue flame. You can put a screw driver tip over the first slot to see if the flame gets more blue in which case I would change the burner tube along with the Al line.
- RJsfishinExplorerI has to replace the burner tube because of rusted slots.
There is no air adjustment - John_JoeyExplorer

Do you have a picture you could post?
Or a link to a manual?

I'm sure he's thinking about the hot water heater, and not the fridge. :W
FWIW,
in the old days a few hunting shacks would get an old natural gas heater and re-jet it for propane. The propane would eat at the cast iron burner holes as the years went by and a yellow flame would develop. Maybe that cleaned up rusted burner tube is the same way. - jetcareExplorer

Get a new burner also. I think you'll find it doesn't cost that much and if the openings have rusted larger then OEM that will also give you a yellow flame. - westendExplorerIf you have a small butane torch, heat the brass nuts and try to loosen while hot. You may have to work them back and forth to remove the rust between the nut and the tube.
I shouldn't have to tell a brilliant guy like yourself to do this with the propane shut off and the valve/tube evacuated of gas. - SCVJeffExplorerThis gets worse.. I tried to remove it to clean tonight, but the aluminum tube between the valve and the burner has corroded onto their brass compression nuts at both ends. I tried to remove but all I am doing is twisting the tubing, so it's off to the parts store before the burner can be removed.
(Edit:iPad predictive spelling) - Charlie_D_ExplorerHMM-On my second 5th wheel and both had only pilot light size flame and never had a problem with cooling.
