Wind blowing out pilot on hot water heater

What does your voltage in the battery measure? If an alarm is hard-wired it may chime if battery voltage is low.

On your water heater, you say you hear it clicking but it won't stay lit. Can you describe what does happen like do you hear it clicking and then it makes a big whoosh sound and then starts clicking again? Does it click, then make a pop and a big flame shoots out and goes out? Do you ever hear it click and then start roaring which is the normal operation? Since it's a 2014 it should still be under warranty so I would take it back to the dealer and let them take a look at it.

The alarm going off concerns me as it's trying to warn you about a dangerous situation. I would definitely take it back for this problem alone and have it checked out before something potentially bad happens.

We had a similar problem; the igniter had a crack in the ceramic and was sparking at the wrong place. Sometimes it would light normally, other times there would be a bit of a gas buildup and when it lit it blew itself out.

Take it to the shop. Probably cheaper in the long run.

First off you have a CO detector not CO2. CO2 is what makes your soda fizz.

You also have an LPG detector.

If one of those is going off you have a serious problem with potentially dangerous consequences.

Since you don't seem to know much anything about your systems and it is a new RV, take it to your dealer!

By introduction, Chris Bryant is an RV Tech/Shop Owner in DeLand FL who spends a lot of time helping us here. In addition to that he loads Owner Manuals and Service Manuals on his BryantRV webpage here.
The clicky should get you near the Suburban "SW" series water heater manual. Go UP and you can find Norcold "300" series. You may not be able to "FIX" these things yourself, but you may find some tips. You can check electrical connections for tight ground screws, etc. And take a look at the fridge burner area for obvious issues.
This may be more effective for you than taking it to a dealer under warranty.

Well ok, I take it all back,....the OP doesn't know a pilot flame when he sees one ! :)

But like I said before, if wind is the problem, adjust the air/fuel mix on the burner tube. It should have a slight "roaring" sound to the blue flame w/ a slightly yellow tip.

The fridge is a Norcold NR302RM8. Haven't had the chance to use the camper outside of a park but once, just 1 night. Plan to go dry camping in 2 weeks, this should tell me if the fridge is going to work correctly.

Okay, it is a Suburban water heater SW6D. So if it is a DSI why will it not stay on? I can hear it sparking over and over again and that is when the C02 alarm goes off. I reset the alarm, open the door and the alarm continues to beep every 5 minutes or so for an hour. This past weekend we were at Crawford State Park at 6600'.

Several comments have indicated LP appliances don't work well at elevation. My previous camper was a Coachman. I camped at 10,000' several times for extended days with many other campers, never had a problem with HWH or Fridge.

Well, yes, easy to say, but do you just throw an almost new WH in the junk pile ?
Hard to bleve they don't make a change over kit for DSI,....how hard could that be ?
