Pretty sure Carl has 2WD in that 2010, they did set a bit lower. Not no more though :W I've always liked the looks of em better in 2WD being lower but no way I'm running a 2WD dually in my neck of the woods.
Not in the snow anywhere near like you, but driving in the mountains of WV, VA, TN, NC and SC in a lot of soggy wet ground and we have gotten quite a bit of snow at times.... I GOT'S to have a 4 wheel drive.. - 45RicochetExplorerPretty sure Carl has 2WD in that 2010, they did set a bit lower. That's your buddy Carl's trucks Jim. I don't know his tire size but most likely the usually for duallies.
I can tell your thinking delay now Ian :B
He has another photo from the front end also Jim, much taller. I suspect with the new front ends and frames they would set a bit taller up there.
I hope he don't mind me posting his photos :H Oh well it is the Internet.
Carl wouldn't care, believe he's got 17" OEM tires, just like the ones' I had on the 10', the 12' and now the 13'...Well, now I'm wondering...I'm going to go measure the stinking thing again...I mean I USE to know how to use a tape measure and a straight edge..now I'm beginning to wonder....
ON EDIT:: Only other way I know to do it and it's still showing under 58"....:h - 45RicochetExplorerThat's your buddy Carl's trucks Jim. I don't know his tire size but most likely the usually for duallies.

Well I'm not sure about the spacer being bigger or not since I can't see one in person :M
But it sure looks like the MY 2014 won't have em :B
Those round metal plates sure look like a good place to mount air suspension components...at the factory...hmmm - NC_HaulerExplorer

Rick, did they both have the same size tires? - NC_HaulerExplorerKind of hard to spot less than an inch, but I have Ricks and a 2012 owner both tell me that their trucks from the ground to top of tailgate is 58.5"...mine is "right at" 57.75" from the ground to the top of the tailgate. I do know how to use a straight edge and a tape measure and have taken the measurement more than several times, so I'm pretty sure my measurement is within an 1/4" worse case....I'm getting ready to get me a Reese Elite drop in ball. It fit's perfectly in the center hole in my truck and am probably going to go with the Anderson Ultimate 5th wheel hitch...still don't need to do anything for about a month, but this would keep my truck bed clean and it's not a big deal putting it all in the bed of the truck and getting it out...If I go this route, will hook up and see what kind of drop I have...you would think with the beefed up frame, suspension, axle and front end, and upping the GVWR to 14,000#, I wouldn't expect much drop, but will know before too long.
- 45RicochetExplorerI did notice the 2WD are taller though
- 45RicochetExplorerI'm about 58.5" empty and the 2013 is less than 58" on NC's truck. Difference being the squat factor I suspect. ~3200 lbs mine will drop 4 inches which gets rid of the natural rake it has. It will be interesting when a hitch is developed :W to find out what squat the 2013's have :B

I'll see if I can take a picture...for some reason, and maybe I'm completely off base, just seemed like the spring pack on the 13 was "more robust", (for want of a better phrase), than the 10 or the 12'...but, again, they may be identical...I know GVWR went from 12200# on my 10 to 12,300# on the 12 to 14,000# on the 13'...hey, maybe it's the air in the tires:h
I also seen a picture of a '10-'12 DRW RAM back to back with a '13 DRW RAM and the '13 was clearly taller when comparing the tailgate heights. One strategy sometimes is to put a taller block between the springs and the axle to allow for more compression of the springs to increase load carrying capability.
Again not punching holes NC, but just making a visual observation based on very limited information. :W
