Agree with the previous posts about the lack of details on the down hill run with the Ram. They sure showed much more detail for the Silverado.
Then again perhaps this very lacking of information means the down hill run with the Ram was so ordinary, ho-hum uneventful that they just decided not to show more.
Like the feeling of the up hill run that felt ho-humm?
I guess you didn't heard the loud engine noise or it shifting into 3rd gear. Not that it is a bad thing but the rpms were showing in a higher gear so we get fooled very easy unless you focas on how it really is. I guess I like facts for every thing I do or ask about.

The driver felt like it was lumbering along, that was the ho-humm part. But he was surprised it was faster then the GM.
My truck likes 3rd gear pulling 6% grades at 55 or more. The noise is the huge fan keeping both the radiators cool so it can accomplish the 30K towing claim.
Brake temps at the end of the down hill run would be nice to know. - larry_barnhartExplorer

I tried flipping mine up on my 2014 and I don't think I can? Seems like the flashers would be obstructed if I did
Is the spot mirror vertical at the outer edge? If so they are towing mirrors. - gtsumExplorerNice pic!!

ha..I didnt even realize the side mirrors flipped up! - VulcaneerExplorerI just have to say that video show is just hokee. What a bunch of crud. And the test is pretty well pointless in my opinion. But that truck is an absolutely beautiful example of a heavy duty pickup truck. I love the truck. The show? Not so much. But oh...that truck....

First time posted, video was 7hrs old when I posted it up. - jus2shyExplorerRolling start is consistent with the Chevy. However, I was bummed to not hear the mechanic tell them how hot the brakes were. If the Exhaust Brake was super effective, they could had at least mentioned that. However, that truck is a unicorn! It's the mystical 3500 w/ airbag suspension (you can see it as it rolls over the camera). Yes it did beat the Chevy, however it did have 4.10 gears versus the 3.73 that the Chevy had (Note, they mis labeled the gears for the Chevy as 3.37 and AFAIK, nobody makes that ratio, AAM only makes 3.42, 3.73, 4.10 and 4.56).
